There's no shortage of green space near the Lakeside Condominiums. Woodward Park, which includes San Joaquin River watershed area, is a popular picnic, equestrian and hiking area. The park is home to several native bird species, and is the site of a multi-use amphiteatre area seating up to 2,500 people. The Lewis S. Eaton Trail, when complete, will cover 22 miles between Highway 99 and Friant Dam.
Transportation

There are four airports that service the area: Fresno Yosemite International Airport, Fresno Chandler Executive Airport, Firebaugh Airport and New Coalinga Municipal Airport. The Fresno Area Express (FAX) has a modern fleet of over 100 buses and 18 fixed-routes. The Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA) services Fresno County with 18 subsystems. Greyhound and Orange Belt Stages provide reliable inner-city and long-distance bus transportation, and Amtrak trains make regular, scheduled stops in the area (Fresno Station).
